Fresher's Day for UG students organised by Student Welfare Wing

With the aim of welcoming the fresher’s of B.A, B.Com and B.Sc first year to Anjuman Arts, Science & Commerce College & PG Centre, the college has organized Fresher’s day on 6th August 2015.

Students from B.Com 5th & B.Com 3rd semester have taken initiative to execute the allotted responsibilities. Mr. Ibrahim Khaldoon of B.Sc recited few versus from holy Quran. Mr. Mohammed  Saad from B.Com 5th semester extended a warm welcome address to the eminent guests and to the gathering. Prof. M K Shaikh-Vice Principal and HOD of Department of Chemistry given a preface of the programme to the gathering followed by offering floral garlanding as a gesture of love and reverence by the students.

Our College Board secretary Janab Javeed Hussain Armar addressed the gathering. Eminent speaker and chief guest of the function Janab Syed Umar Farooq- Operational Manager, Al-Ghurair Centre, Dubai addressed the gathering and conveyed the importance of discipline and moral values in  students which is required for building a good nation. The Guest of Honour Janab Yaseen Askeri, Executive Member, AHM has also addressed the students by giving them the real sense of being achiever is to make hard work with sincerity. 

Further, Prof. A M Mulla, principal of Anjuman Arts, Science & Commerce College & PG Centre delivered presidential remarks by conveying the significance and need of discipline. The programme concluded by proposing vote of thanks by Mr. Abdul Muqeeth from B.Com 5th semester.

College Function Committee Co-ordinator Prof. S A Indikar and Student Welfare Officer Prof. Saheelahmed Muzawar, were also present over the dais. College teaching staff, non teaching staff and students actively participated in this programme. Fresher's Day programme is concluded by having a heavy tea followed by Quiz competition, One minute show and Mock interview for the fresher's.
